WELCOME TO MASTED

The Master in Integrated STEAM Education (MASTED) is a eighteen-month, multilingual and international master's degree (90 ECTS), targeted at teaching professionals and managers of the educational system known by their academic and professional excellence, regardless of the educational field: formal education (all levels); adult education; scientific dissemination; educational planning and management (local, ministerial,...); ...

Officially recognized in 3 countries, its objective is to train in the interdisciplinary and integrated educational approach STEAM, which allows to train the citizenship in the resolution of problems with holistic and innovative perspectives through the acquisition of transversal competences now required at social and labour level.

WHY MASTED

International Master

A single program developed jointly by 5 prestigious international universities, with official validity in three countries: Spain, Portugal and Brazil.

Scholarships available

Financial support for excellence. An annual average of 12 Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available to students who meet the requirements.

 

Research and PhD

Leading research lines. A practical, current and quality program that, after getting the title, grants access to educational research and doctoral studies.

Multidisciplinary team

Teachers from different countries, educational areas and disciplines will offer a current, practical and innovative vision of the STEAM approach.

International internships

More than 15 institutions, public and private, with extensive work in integrated STEAM and its disciplines, will show students the most practical part.

Career opportunities

Excellent career opportunities. Students will acquire the new competences demanded by the marketplace for professionals in the education sector.

FUTURE

CONSORTIUM

MASTED is a joint degree designed by five prestigious universities in Spain, Portugal and Brazil, with extensive experience and excellence in their respective disciplines, which will grant an official degree recognized in these countries. 

The programme works with more than 18 public and private institutions around the world that collaborate in the dissemination, reception and training of trainees or teaching with international renowned experts, among other things.

The Master in Integrated STEAM Education (MASTED) has been one of the 94 proposals submitted to the ERASMUS-EDU-2023-PEX-EMJM-MOB call of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) program, which closed on February 16 2023 and has an allocated budget of almost 143 million euros.
