DEGREES

The University of Burgos as Coordinating Institution will issue a Joint Diploma on behalf of the University of Jaén, the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, the Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave and the University of Burgos itself. This document will be validated in the four institutions to take effect in their respective countries.

The Universidade Federal da Bahia will award its own national Diploma and an Academic Pathway Certificate to students who have been enrolled for at least one semester (minimum 30 ECTS credits) at that university. For the rest of the students, the Universidade Federal da Bahia will validate the Joint Diploma issued by the University of Burgos upon request by the student.

All students, regardless of their academic pathway in the development of the master's degree, will obtain an European Diploma Supplement issued by the University of Burgos with specific information on the student s participation in the master's degree.

COMPETENCES

The competences that MASTED students will have to acquire to obtain the degrees referred to above, are shown in relation with the different subjects of the programme as follows:

  • C1: Develop knowledge and understanding in the chosen area of professional expertise.
  • C2: Develop advanced cognitive and procedural skills, associated with the development and creation of knowledge.
  • C3: Elaborate, implement and assess the development of new plans, as well as organize and improve the teaching/learning process. 
  • C4: Develop and use a wide range of strategies to organize the classroom/available space and stimulate learning.
  • C5: Develop evaluations to measure learning, as well as improve the learning process and teaching practices.
  • C6: Develop the attention skills to diversity and equality with the aim of promoting the inclusion of all students.
  • C7: Develop the capacity to establish effective relationships with families and to cooperate with peers and other institutions of the community.
  • C8: Develop professional and self-reflection skills.
  • C9: Integrate the theoretical knowledge acquired throughout the course in the practical field.
  • C10: Develop communication and cooperation skills with different stakeholders.
  • C11: Develop multilingual skills.
  • C12: Develop critical literacy skills.
  • C13: Develop citizenship skills.
  • C14: Develop advanced digital skills.
  • C15: Develop digital pedagogy skills to use, plan and implement new technologies.
  • C16: Develop professional engagement using digital technologies.
  • C17: Internalize the complexity in sustainability.
  • C18: Act for the sustainability.
  • C19: Develop skills for intercultural communication.
